Haiti continues to make meaningful progress in beach volleyball across the Caribbean. At the CAZOVA Under-18 Championship in Trinidad & Tobago, the young Haitian duo Luckenly Joseph and Philippe Julien claimed an impressive bronze medal, marking an outstanding achievement in their first-ever international appearance.
With confidence and discipline, the Haitian pair secured a straight-set victory over Martinique, 21–18, 21–19, demonstrating the growing potential of the sport in Haiti.
The Athletes’ Commission of Haiti (Haiti AC) proudly salutes and congratulates Luckenly and Philippe for this inspiring performance. Their determination embodies the resilience and ambition of Haiti’s young athletes.
Coach Pedro Cedeme, also coordinator of the National Beach Volleyball Program, highlighted their commitment:
“Luckenly and Philippe showed exceptional maturity on the court. Their dedication and focus make us extremely proud. This medal reflects the ongoing efforts to structure and elevate beach volleyball in Haiti.”
