Haitian Athletes’ Commission It is an organ of the Haitian Olympic Committee (COH) which represents the interests of Haitian athletes. The commission is made up of active and retired athletes, and is responsible for promoting the rights and interests of athletes, improving the conditions for practicing sport in Haiti and facilitating the participation of Haitian athletes in international competitions.
Since its creation, the Haitian AC has been committed to promoting sport and education, driving change through unity and compassion. Our journey began with a group of passionate Haitian athletes and sports leaders who were frustrated by the lack of support and resources for athletes, and who saw the potential to make a difference beyond the arena. Over the years, our unwavering dedication to our values has allowed us to touch countless lives and create lasting memories. We believe that sport is a powerful tool that can be used to improve the lives of young Haitians.
Together, we can create a more equitable and inclusive sporting landscape for all Haitians. Join the Haitian AC today and help us empower Haitian athletes to reach their full potential.
The Haitian AC is a non-profit organization that unites sport and charity to achieve extraordinary results. Its mission is to represent and support Haitian athletes for their sporting and personal success.
The Haitian AC endeavors to establish partnerships with other organizations, such as the Haitian National Olympic Committee, Haitian sports federations, and private companies. These partnerships enable the Haitian AC to increase its impact and reach a greater number of Haitian athletes. By adopting a multidimensional approach and relying on strategic partnerships, the Haitian AC can play an important role in the development of Haitian sport and in improving the chances of success of Haitian athletes.
Sport is more than a physical activity; it is a powerful tool for self-education, skill development, personal empowerment, and social change.
Education empowers athletes to develop self-confidence, self-esteem, and transferable skills that will serve them well beyond their athletic careers. The Commission provides them with the tools they need to succeed, both on and off the field.
The Commission champions mental health support services, fostering an inclusive and equitable sporting environment where all athletes, regardless of gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic status, have the same opportunity to succeed.
The Commission’s commitment to protecting the rights of athletes, including protection from abuse and discrimination, is essential to ensuring that athletes have a safe and supportive environment in which to compete.
These stories are just a glimpse of the many lives that the Haitian Athletes’ Commission has touched. We invite you to join us on this remarkable journey of transformation.
